1989 Jeux Canada Games Foundation Grant

The Saskatchewan Weightlifting Association (SWA ) wishes to thank the Jeux Canada Games Foundation for the grant it provided during the 2020/21 season to purchase equipment designed specifically for youth aged athletes.

Sask Sport/Government of Canada Sport Emergency Funding

The SWA wishes to thank Sask Sport for its administration and dissemination of pandemic funding through the Government of Canada’s sport emergency funding program. The SWA received substantial funding through this program, which offset revenue losses suffered as a result of the cancellation of several sanctioned events due to the pandemic. The funding enabled the SWA to provide PPE supplies to its training centers, along with IPADS to assist in the delivery of virtual coaching and virtual competitions.
