Canadian Senior Weightlifting Championships 2019
The 2019 Canadian Senior Weightlifting Championships took place May 18-19 in La Prairie, QC. Nine SWA athletes qualified for the competition.
2019 Western Canadian Weightlifting Championships
Team Saskatchewan represented well at the 2019 Western Canadian Weightlifting Championships. With a team of 9 men and 9 women, the team took home 12 medals.
Saskatchewan Sport Awards
On March 28, 2019, Sask Sport hosted the Saskatchewan Sport Awards.

So, you are new to the sport of weightlifting? Welcome! Entering in your first competition can be intimidating especially when you’re competing alongside some well seasoned athletes. Rest assured that everyone was in your shoes at one point in time and have made it out the other side. This post will help you better understand what to expect in competition.

Canadian National/Pan American Masters Weightlifting Championships 2018
Saskatchewan athletes represented well at the Canadian National/Pan American Masters Weightlifting Championships. The competition took place in Gaspe, Quebec from June 15-18, 2018.
Canadian Senior Championships 2018
The SWA took 10 athletes to the Canadian Senior Championships that took place on May 19-20, 2018 in Mississauga, Ontario.
SWA Annual General Meeting - December 16th, 11AM @ SaskSport
SWA ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) will be taking place on December 16th @ 11:00am. This year it will be held in Saskatoon at the SaskSport building (Room 122/123 - 510 Cynthia St, Saskatoon, SK S7L 7K7).
